Cowes Week 2024

I was fortunate enough to sail on the West Solent One Design Suvretta during the 2024 Cowes Week, taking on the bow position. This was a fantastic opportunity for me, and the entire event was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. It’s not every day you get to race on such a beautifully preserved piece of sailing history, and the thrill of competing in a fleet full of skilled sailors just added to the excitement.

We managed to sail 6 out of 7 days with one day where the wind didn't materialise but for 6 days, it was fantastic champagne conditions! It was one of those events where if you didn't enjoy the conditions of sailing, you don't like sailing.
